About ExaCalculator

ExaCalculator is a free calculator hub with one idea at its center: a calculator should end in a shopping list, not just a number.

Most online calculators hand you a decimal and stop. Real projects do not work that way. You cannot buy 2.2 pallets of sod or 55.6 bags of soil. So every tool here rounds its result into the units suppliers actually sell, rolls, pallets, bags, whole and half yards, with the waste and settling allowances shown as open fields you can adjust, never hidden inside the math.

How the numbers are made

Three rules govern every page on this site. The formula is printed on the page, in plain text, where anyone can check it. The constants, roll sizes, bag volumes, material weights, are listed in a table with where each one comes from. And every tool works one complete example with real numbers, using the same default values the tool itself starts with, so you can verify the tool against the example by hand.

Where a number genuinely varies by supplier or region, the page says so and tells you what to confirm before you order. Estimates are labelled estimates. Nothing here pretends to be more precise than the real world allows.

Who builds it

ExaCalculator is designed, built and maintained by Aalijah, a software builder and SEO specialist. The site is growing one category at a time, starting with home and garden, and every page is held to the same standard before it ships: a working tool, an honest formula, a worked example, and a result you can take to a store.

Found a wrong number?

Calculators earn trust by being corrected in public. If a formula, a constant or a result looks off, tell us and it will be checked against its sources and fixed, with the page updated.
